Especially if you work in FMCG.
In fact, early in my marketing career I was taught “the 3 second rule”
…a consumer will stand at the supermarket fixture and give you no more than 3 seconds of their time looking at your product.
So your packaging has to stand out , has to scream, “look at me for longer, pick me up, buy me”. If not, you are toast!
This is of course marketing execution and not strategy (OBVS!)
