As a CUSTOMER it is easy to get too focused on the ‘price paid’
The MARKETER will ask, did the product, the experience, JUSTIFY the price paid? 🤔
In this case, a lack of welcome entering the pub, a miserable member of bar staff, uncleared tables, wobbly chairs and a few other things too, all add to my poor review for this pub, Greene King, but it could have been any pub from any chain.
From a MARKETING perspective, if you are going premium with pricing, you need to ensure your ‘7 P’s of marketing (the “marketing mix”) work together, so price paid is justified.
